A steak perhaps...no omelette...no a...
13:10 p.m. EDT Sep 25, 2003
103 days into her row Maud is still battling the back drift. 311 more miles have to be covered before she can set foot on her native soil. The weather is humid and cold and the days pass by very slowly.

She watch herself moving backwards by each minute and desperation is creeping up.

On a serious food rationing since weeks back, Maud fantasize about what will be her first meal upon arrival: "Soup perhaps, omelette or even a steak. But no seafood and definitely NO SUSHI!"

French rower Maud Fontenoy set out from St. Pierre et Miquelon, Canada on June 13 in an attempt to become the first woman to row across the Atlantic West to East.
