Ghost rowers watch
15:21 p.m. EST Feb 29, 2004
Carpe Diem is next up for the Barbados harbor. The Ocean rowing regatta latest report had the rowers 649 miles from the goal, averaging around 60 miles per day. That should put them on dry land in the next 10 days.

More interesting is the status of the "ghost rowers" boat Against all odds. Invisible on all charts as they didn't pay the regatta fee, we must guess their position.

We know that they were around 200 miles behind the winning Queensgate around Feb 20. Queensgate arrived Feb 27. If a two man crew like Carpe Diem averages 60 miles per day, chances are that the double team of Against all odds are only 3-5 days behind Queensgate's arrival. We could in fact expect them any time between today through Wednesday. Track the webcam!
