What seems stranger to you? Under water motorcycles, or a Brit who wants to live the life of a pet fish? Just in case one of you answered motorcycles, here are both.

Meet ScubaDoo

It’s a one-seater submarine with a T-top. A clear dome above the seat is fed with O2 from a tank, just pop your head in and take a seat. Without the bothersome inconvenience of a sealed compartment, the rider of the ScubaDoo now has the ability to poke, prod, and make as make gesticulations as they want. Don’t count on it getting you to work on time though, as the fella’s over at The WetAss Chronicles point out (thanks for doing all that nasty math Tim) the ScubaDoo does a tortoise’s 3 miles per hour.

A fish’s life

There is actually an on-going competition for this; the record for living underwater. Curently it stands at just over eight days, but Mark Webber plans to shatter that by 7. Mark will spend 15 days playing tic-tac-toe, and chess occasionally sleeping on a specially made underwater mattress. This will all take place in a giant fish tank located in Lancashire, UK.
